North Waikato rural land holders located within the majority of the Hauraki District are governed by the rules of the operative Hauraki District Plan. This plan has no provision for rural subdivision via Transferable Title Right rules.

However if you are located in the Northern Fringe of Hauraki in the area which was previously part of the Franklin District you are still governed by the rules of the Franklin District Plan. There are only a small number of properties in this catchment but there is still some potential for these rural properties to subdivide utilising Transferable Title Right Rules.
